Gandini, born on August 26, 1938 in Turin, Italy, and who passed away on March 13, 2024 at the age of 85 in Rivoli, Italy, was recognized for his innovation and avant-garde vision in automotive design.

The son of a conductor, Gandini began his career at the legendary Gruppo Bertone company in 1963, under the direction of Nuccio Bertone.
