Is there a BMW M3 Pickup?
Is there such a thing as a BMW M3 Pick-up? And we don’t mean a workshop adaptation, but an official BMW product. Well, the answer is YES, believe it or not.
The M3 pick-up was a concept vehicle built from a 3-series convertible for use as a company parts transport vehicle. It featured a narrower body than its production equivalent and the 2.0-litre engine from the E30 3. However, the engine was later replaced by the 2.3-litre S14 engine used in the 192bhp M3. It was later replaced by a 200 hp 2.3-litre four-cylinder.
The M3 pick-up was used as a transport vehicle for approximately 26 years before it was officially withdrawn in 2012.
