Lamborghini tractors are renowned for their quality and durability. They were the forerunners of the Lamborghini brand that today is synonymous with high-end sports cars. A Lamborghini tractor is much more than just a work tool, it is a collector’s item that represents the history and heritage of the Italian brand.
On this occasion, a Lamborghini Centenario Trattori No. 5/5 limited edition tractor has been offered for sale. It is a model commemorating the centenary of the birth of Ferruccio Lamborghini, the founder of the brand. This special edition was launched in 2016 and consists of only five tractors, making it an extremely exclusive collector’s item.
Anniversary of Ferruccio Lamborghini
Ferruccio Lamborghini founded his tractor factory in 1948 in the town of Cento, Italy. Initially, the company was dedicated to the production of tractors for agriculture and construction. The brand was characterised by its quality and reliability, which allowed it to quickly become a reference in the market.
In the 1960s, Ferruccio Lamborghini decided to enter the world of high-end sports cars. Thus was born the Lamborghini Automobili brand, which quickly became a benchmark in the world of luxury sports cars.
In 2016, the centenary of Ferruccio Lamborghini’s birth was celebrated, and to commemorate this milestone, Lamborghini launched a series of special editions of its cars and tractors. Among them is the Lamborghini Centenario Trattori No. 5/5, a commemorative tractor representing the brand’s legacy.
The Lamborghini Centenario Trattori No. 5/5 has an exclusive design created by Italian designer Adler Capelli. The tractor is finished in “metallo nudo” colour, which gives it an elegant and sophisticated look.
The tractor is equipped with a 2,193cc 3-cylinder engine that produces a power output of 39hp. In addition, it can reach a top speed of over 40 km/h, making it ideal for agricultural and construction work.
The Lamborghini Centenario Trattori No. 5/5 is a highly sought-after collector’s item by collectors and enthusiasts of the marque. Only five units exist worldwide, making it extremely exclusive and difficult to obtain.
The tractor comes with an original Lamborghini certificate, guaranteeing its authenticity and exclusivity. Moreover, the realisation of this project was supported by the entire Lamborghini family, which makes it even more special. And it’s not the only sports car company to enter the agricultural sector: Germany’s Porsche also developed a tractor.
