Elvis Presley’s BMW 507 restored
The king of rock, Elvis Presley, was the lucky owner of this magnificent BMW 507, which he bought in Germany while doing his military service.
After finishing it, he shipped it in a container to the United States where it was passed from hand to hand until it ended up in the possession of a private collector, who finally sold it to BMW, who has been in charge of its restoration. It is not known how much BMW paid for this magnificent roadster, but it will surely be a figure commensurate with the exclusivity of the vehicle and its famous owner.
The restoration process included, among other tasks, the installation of an original engine and the repainting of the car to its original colour, Feather White, in a process that took BMW technicians thousands of hours of work.
