BMW 328 MM, an elegant and fast coupe

The BMW 328 MM is a sports car produced by the German BMW brand between 1936 and 1940. This elegant vehicle was designed by Fritz Fiedler, who would go on to work at BMW designing among others the BMW New Class. The 3288 MM had many advanced features for its time, such as a tubular frame and an engine with hemispherical combustion chambers and was powered by a front-mounted 2-litre naturally aspirated engine.
The engine had a power output of 134 hp (136 PS/100 kW) at 6,000 rpm, which enabled the 328 MM to reach a top speed of 220 km/h thanks also to its low weight of 780 kg.
